There are advantages to being an atheist. Without the presence of a God to believe in I’m spared the trouble to believe there is a corresponding Devil as well. Cool.

The possibility of a careful God and a tempting Devil puts people concerned in the position of a teenager who still has to count on mum and dad for support but is already smart enough to blame someone else for his own mistakes.
